WASLI Interpreter Education Guidelines

In 2011, the Task Force on Education and Training presented their report, WASLI Interpreter Education Guidelines.  It sets out a series of scenarios that might be followed in developing an educational programme for interpreters, particularly in developing countries.  In addition, they created a philosophical statement and information for those trainers working in countries where they do not live.  In 2017, the document was reviewed and updated.  Our thanks to Rachel Locker Mckee for her leadership on this work.  You can read or download the report by clicking on this link.
